Law Abiding Citizen is a crime drama film that came out in the year 2009. The movie is about a man who is victim of a home invasion. In retaliation he looks to find the people who raped his wife and murdered his child. He begins using brutal tactics to kill these men. However he goes to prison after his methods are deemed to violate the law. While he is in prison he begins to engage in terrorism to make a statement to the criminal justice system. As a result a prosecutor needs to put him out of commission and eventually does. The movie got mediocre reviews but is still a decent film for those who enjoy crime drama films. This movie is for mature audiences due to some disturbing violence. However those who enjoy movies with suspense and thrills will likely find this movie worth watching. For those who like these kinds of movies this is one that will be one of the more intriguing they will see.

A man is living at home with his wife and child. One day a group of men invade his home, assault him, kill his child and rape and murder his wife. Some time later, the man hunts down and finds the men who assaulted him and killed his wife and child. He kills some of the men with very brutal tactics that include poisoning and torture. As a result of his acts he himself is caught and prosecuted for committing crimes. A prosecutor is assigned to the case to deal with the situation. Once the man is in prison he begins to commit various terrorist attacks to make a statement that the criminal justice system is flawed and allows too many people to get away with committing horrible crimes. The prosecutor then fears that this man is out of control and is a serious threat to the safety of the community. The prosecutor and his associates devise a plan to hunt down and eliminate the man. They eventually find out that the man is an industrialist and has many businesses. One of the businesses is linked to the prison where he is staying so he has an escape route. The prosecutor finds this out and then traps the man. In the end the prosecutor and his associates blow up the facility and the man dies.
